**The original signatories 6/8/1959 were Casper H. W. Hasselriis, Poul A Christensen, Alfred J. Bedard, Agnes D. Bedard and Grace Y. Maher. Of these five only Poul A. Christensen has been President (or Chairmain as it was called up to 1988/1989), so presumably Poul A. Christensen was the first president of DAS.
