Biography of Phillip (P.J.) Spencer
P.J. moved with his family to New York City from Pensacola, Florida in 1993. He entered SAB´s young boys program as an 11 year-old and subsequently performed in several New York City Ballet works using children (The Nutcracker, Songs of the Auvergne, and Coppelia). Now 18 years old, P.J. has been in the Advanced Men´s level since 1998. He recently participated in a pilot program of distance learning for NYCB´s Education Department. P.J. is in his senior year of correspondence work at the University of Nebraska. He lives with his family in Manhattan.
